Four distinct seasons make northern Michigan an inviting place to visit no matter what your weather preference may be.

The moderate spring temperatures and rain help bring on the mushrooms and wildflowers. Beach days during the summer are delightful with temperatures averaging 75 degrees. Cooler nights in the fall help bring forth a burst of color that is unmatched. And our winters bring an average 120 inches of snow that is just right for sledding, skiing and snowmobling.
